I’m Christy Hayes, a professional artist and instructor, living in Marietta, Georgia, with my husband, two children, and two dogs.
I have been painting professionally for almost 20 years, and teaching art for the last 10 years. Acrylic is my preferred medium, but I also enjoy water-based oils, and gouache.
My art classes are in two locations: The Art Station Big Shanty, in Kennesaw, and The Acworth Art House, in Acworth. Most of the year, I teach Acrylic painting classes and I also offer Open Studio classes. Occasionally, I offer other classes such as plein air, abstract acrylic, mixed media, or gouache at the Art Station Big Shanty.
My objective is to continue to evolve as an artist, and to help you to achieve that same goal.
